Integrations
Browse Google files, mail and events, and authorize Zanbase Agent and automations to write through a workspace connection.
Browse Drive files, Google Docs, Gmail messages and Google Calendar events when choosing an external reference in Zanbase. Your personal connection also brings Gmail messages into Mail and Google Calendar events into the workspace calendar.
A separate workspace connection lets Zanbase Agent and automations create Calendar events, Google Docs and Drive files with text content, append rows to an existing Google Sheet, create Gmail drafts and send email. For example, ask Zanbase Agent to create a Google Doc with a report’s text, or write an automation that appends values to a spreadsheet.
Each person grants their own read access. A workspace admin grants the write permissions the team needs. Zanbase stores the connected account’s identifier, label and granted permissions, with access and refresh tokens encrypted. Signing in with Google is separate from granting these permissions.
Open Settings, then Connected apps. Under Connected accounts, select Disconnect beside the account and confirm Disconnect. Only its owner can disconnect a personal connection; workspace connections require an admin. Read the result: if withdrawing access at Google fails, remove the grant in your Google account settings too.
Writes run as queued jobs. In chat, review the action before approving it. An enabled automation runs its configured actions without that chat prompt; create its rule with the intended account and destination in mind.

Choose when an automation runs, add conditions and actions, and save its rule.
Ask Zanbase Agent or an automation to create a GitHub issue or post a comment through a workspace connection.
