Approve or deny an action in chat

Review an action that requires approval before Zanbase Agent runs it.

Zanbase Agent

Some actions pause for your approval in a chat with Zanbase Agent. Review what the action will do before allowing it to run.

Before you start

Use an active chat with Zanbase Agent. The action must be available in its Workspace tools, and your permissions must allow it.

Review a request

  1. When Run this action? appears, read the action’s input, including its target and contents.
  2. Select Approve to allow that action, or Deny to refuse it.
  3. Read the action’s output or error after it finishes.

Good to know

A denied action shows Denied — not run. Approval does not bypass your permissions. Actions marked as needing approval include sending email and permanently deleting a task; other workspace actions can run without this prompt.

Voice turns, mention replies, and inline writing help do not offer these approval controls, so actions that need approval are unavailable there.
