Every team we worked with had the same week: a chat app for talking, a doc tool for writing, a tracker for tasks, a video app for meetings and a drive for files. Each tool solved one problem and quietly added another: one more place to look.

Suites tried to help by putting separate apps under one login, but the apps still didn’t know about each other. So we set out to build one app, from the ground up, where everything a team does lives together.
