Add form fields, publish a response link, and choose what respondents see after submitting.
A form collects answers as response rows. Use it when people need to send you information through a link.
You need the workspace member, admin, or owner role to create this item. To create it inside a folder, open the folder and use its New resource button; you need Can edit or Full access on that folder. You need Can edit or Full access on the form to change its fields and settings. Publishing its link requires Full access.
To choose another field type when adding a field, open Form actions beside New field and choose a type under New field.
The Form tab also offers Placeholder, Help text, Width, and Visibility. These form settings save as you change them. Visibility can show a question only when other answers match; hidden questions do not contribute answers to the submission.
Anyone with the published link can submit, including people who are not signed in. Submitted answers appear on Responses, a read-only view. Reading responses requires Can see responses, Can edit, or Full access on the form; the public response link does not grant that access.
To work with the answers as table records, see Turn a form into a table.
Create a table, add columns and rows, and save another view of the same records.
Keep a form’s responses as table rows when you no longer need to collect submissions.
