Ask Zanbase Agent for tasks during a call

Invite Zanbase Agent to a meeting and ask it to create or assign tasks with your permissions.

Meetings and recordings

Invite Zanbase Agent into a meeting when you want it to act on a spoken request. For example, ask it to create a task in a project and assign that task to a teammate.

Before you start

You need an active workspace membership, Can edit or Full access on the meeting, and access to view the Zanbase Agent you invite through your own permissions. A public link alone does not provide either permission for a call. The workspace needs available AI credits; see Pricing for allowances. Its Workspace tools must include the actions you need. The person asking for a task must have permission to make that change in the project.

Invite Zanbase Agent

  1. Open the meeting and select Join call.
  2. Select Invite agent in the call controls.
  3. Choose your Zanbase Agent by name from Agents.

Ask for an assigned task

  1. Address Zanbase Agent by the name you chose in Agents.
  2. State the project, task title, and teammate you want assigned. For example: “Create a task called Review the brief in the Website project and assign it to Alex.”
  3. Listen to its response, then open the named project to check the task and assignee.

Good to know

Zanbase Agent acts with the permissions of the person speaking to it. It responds when addressed, rather than creating tasks automatically. Invite agent is available in meetings, not channel or direct message huddles.

It cannot write doc bodies or meeting notes during a call. To keep the discussion’s words, record the call and request its transcript. Actions that require approval are unavailable during voice turns.
