Create a channel, choose who can use it, and start direct conversations or replies.

Find, forward, and pin messages
Search a conversation, send a message copy elsewhere, and keep useful messages pinned.
Chat
Search helps you return to a message without scrolling through the conversation. Forward a copy when another conversation needs it, or pin it for people in the current conversation.
Before you start
You can search messages you can read. Pinning and posting a forwarded message require Can comment or higher access in a channel, or participation in a direct conversation.
Search messages
- Open the conversation.
- Select Search.
- Type your query in Search messages.
- Select a result to open the matching message.
- Select Load more if it appears and you need more results.
Forward a message
- Open Message actions on the message.
- Select Forward.
- Use Search destinations… to find a channel, direct conversation, or thread in the workspace.
- Select the destination.
- Enter Add a comment (optional) if you want to include context.
- Select Forward.
You move to the destination after the forward succeeds. If Zanbase cannot confirm the result, check the destination before trying again.
Pin a message
- Open Message actions on the message.
- Select Pin.
- Select Pinned in the conversation header to see pinned messages.
To remove a pin, open Message actions and select Unpin.
Good to know
Forwarding creates a copy in the destination. Read access to a destination alone is not enough to post there, even if it appears in the picker. See channels and direct messages to start a conversation.
